Infant Classrooms
6 Weeks - 12 Months
Your infant or young toddler will explore the people and objects in their world for social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Consistency in our care-giving staff will provide optimal experiences for your child. Daily forms assist parents and caregivers in maintaining consistent routines for this age group.
Our specialized Infants' Curriculum allows for observation, individual planning, and ongoing developmental assessments which are significant to positive outcomes for our children. Your child's Individual Assessment Portfolio follows your child as your child matriculates from Infants to school-age.
The physical environment for your infant or toddler is safe, healthy, and contains toys and materials that are both stimulating and familiar.
Your children will bond closely to their assigned primary caregivers allowing a secure base for them. They will learn to trust the consistent, familiar caregiver who will care for them as they explore and who will be there to comfort them. This relationship between caregiver and child allows a child to feel secure enough to relate to the other adults in the center. Developing strong relationships between caregivers and families create a bridge between a child's two environments: their home and our center.
Toddler Classrooms
12 Months-36 Months
We have 3 toddler classrooms allowing age appropriate care tailored to your child's development and needs. Our toddler program has four main goals and 21 objectives for your child to master before entering the preschool program. The goals include learning about herself and others, learning about moving, learning about the world, and learning to communicate. The objectives are a way for our teachers to monitor your child’s development and include managing emotions, using personal care skills, showing a basic understanding of cause and effect, engaging in pretend play, participating in conversation, and experimenting with drawing and writing.
